In the next two parts of this article series, I will explain how the optimization of the Force-Velocity Profile (FVP) works. Before jumping into FVP optimization, I will first explain the same reasoning using the Acceler…
In the previous part, I introduced two models to map out the velocity-time relationship in short sprints, while in this article, I will focus on the characteristics of the mono-exponential model.
In this article series I will provide my opinion regarding the use of Force-Velocity Profile (FVP) optimization for short sprints (i.e., the sprints where there is no deceleration).

I have created a Set and Rep Scheme Builder that implements most features of the {STMr} package in Microsoft Excel. This tool allows you to play with various models and adjustments to create your own set and rep schemes.
{STMr} package is created to help sports scientists and strength coaches estimate strength profiles, create and visualize (percent-based) progression tables, and set and rep schemes.
There is an unlimited number of set and rep scheme combinations for a comprehensive classification system. But I do have my favorite scheme! Find out which one is it in the following article.
