Supplements for Athletes

As practitioners, it is sometimes (or actually most of the time) quite complex to find actionable and straight-to-the-point information from all the ‘research forest’. This is especially the case with supplements.

In the video below, Lorena Torres, PhD does a wonderful job summing up the current evidence-based-practice, but also practice-based-evidence on supplements and provides simple actionable insights that can be applied right now with your athletes or club. A very interesting concept is “supplements timelines”, where Lorena visually explains when certain supplements should be taken and why.
